Growing up in Randolph, — a small rural town in the heart of Northeast, Ohio --he learned that hard work, honesty, and community weren’t just values, they were survival. From those roots, Coming from a low-income family, Dakota learned perseverance, resourcefulness, and the strength that comes from standing up for others.
Dakota is a proud blue-collar worker and union member who’s spent his life in the industries that keep Ohio moving. He’s put in the long hours, earned the scars and calloused hands, and carries the pride of a job done right. From the factory floor to skilled trades, Dakota knows what truly powers this state — its people. Through every challenge, he’s led with heart — working side by side with his team, solving problems, and showing that real leadership isn’t about titles or talking points, but about standing shoulder to shoulder with those who build, create, and keep our communities strong.

Dakota’s family legacy is one of service and true determination. Among the many decorated veterans in his bloodline, A notable account of His great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather, Captain Ezekiel Rose, was a frontiersman and militia leader who fought bravely in the Battle of Sandusky during the Revolutionary War. Though he was severely wounded, he survived — later settling in central Ohio, where his son would found the town of Roseville in his honor. That lineage of sacrifice and endurance lives on in Dakota’s mission to serve: to protect freedom, to honor hard work, and to strengthen the communities that make America thrive.
Elected, Dakota will be the youngest voice truly representing Ohio in the Senate, bringing with him a lifetime of perseverance, leadership, and lived experience. He believes every Ohio family deserves the security of affordable housing, fair wages, and relief from rising costs.
